Through a new multi-property deal with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced a major expansion of its upscale and lifestyle portfolio. Four Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, which together account for around 2,000 rooms, are now part of Wyndham’s global brand structure, although the Choctaw Nation retains ownership and administration.
A flagship addition to Wyndham’s luxury offerings, Choctaw Casino & Resort–Durant has been renamed as a Wyndham Grand as part of the arrangement. The Trademark Collection by Wyndham now includes three more properties: Choctaw Landing Casino & Resort–Hochatown, Choctaw Casino & Resort–Pocola, and Choctaw Casino & Resort–Grant.
Located approximately 90 minutes north of Dallas, Choctaw Casino & Resort–Durant spans more than 1,600 rooms and suites across multiple towers and features one of the world’s largest gaming floors. The resort also offers extensive dining options, a large-scale entertainment venue, resort-style pools, wellness facilities, family attractions, and over 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
The three Trademark Collection properties further strengthen Wyndham’s Entertainment Collection, which includes independent, experience-led hotels in established gaming and leisure destinations across the United States.
The rise of casinos coincides with the nation’s ongoing increase in tribal and regional gambling tourism. Wyndham’s worldwide distribution network, marketing platforms, and technological systems under the Wyndham Advantage framework will be made available to the Choctaw properties through the collaboration.
With the integration of all four properties into Wyndham’s booking channels and loyalty ecosystem—which includes Wyndham Rewards and Wyndham corporate—guests will have access to corporate travel programs and member incentives. The action supports Wyndham’s objective to expand its footprint in popular resort and entertainment areas while fostering long-term growth for its partners.
